Annie Sloan Work Book
When Annie Sloan first went to Art School, she was encouraged to keep a sketchbook. This was not just for sketching but also highly useful as a way of developing a visual voice and language. She used her sketchbooks to collect colors, pieces ripped from magazines and pattern making. She still does.
Use her Work Book in the same way—as an ‘aide-memoire’. Plan the color palettes of a room, work out a piece of furniture, and draw little sketches. You can use the pockets to collect ribbons, fabric pieces and cuttings from magazines. Experiment with color combinations making your own mixes.
The Annie Sloan Work Book is exclusively available through stockists. You won’t find it anywhere else! Contact your nearest stockist to get your copy.

Quick and Easy Paint Transformations
In this book I really pulled the boat out and did 50, yes FIFTY pieces of furniture, before and after pics with step by steps of mainly furniture with a few walls and floors. The furniture was on the whole old pieces but I did take a few new pieces and also some metal lampbases and a cement garden pot.
Brilliant photography by Christopher Drake who also did the photography on Creating the French Look

Creating The French Look
This is French style in a way you haven’t seen before. The French look is simple but the influences are many. Greys, whites and linens with toile de Jouy is the most well known look but we also have chic and quirky Parisian influence as well as the sunny and bright look from the south. In this book I use my experience as an interior designer to combine the use of paint colour and fabrics to create the french look with 25 easy to follow step by steps.
