We send our prayers to Tara

With sadness, I share the news that Annie Sloan Unfolded has lost an extraordinary Stockist, Tara Jamieson of Lauren Lane Decor.  At just 30 years old, Tara passed away on July 8, 2012 in a tragic accident.  We will miss her greatly as she has left a hole in the hearts of many.

I thoroughly enjoyed Tara as a customer and I admired her spirit and will to succeed.  In the last year that I have been privileged to know her, I have been impressed both by her dedication towards her business and her gracious personality.  She was a beautiful girl with a bright future ahead.  All of us in the Annie Sloan family, as well as her customers, with miss her greatly!

Here is a look at some of her accomplishments:

I’m just a browser and new to Annie Sloan paints. I came across Tara Laurens page just about a month ago.

So shocked to read about her death today….I just thought she looked like the most delightful person. My deepest regrets to her family and friends who really knew her.

Oh my goodness! I have been reading into Annie’s chalk paints and read about the passing of your dear one Tara. First of all, thank you for sharing so those of us who stumble upon the news can be praying for everyone affected by her passing. Who knows….maybe you could create a new paint color and name it in honor of her…something unique and makes you think of her and her inner and outer beauty….. Praying for your comfort and that something beautiful flows out from this terrible tragedy.
